Department of Political Science has been introduced in the Academic Session 2018-19 keeping the students’ interest and demand in mind. Sine 2018 to 2023 this department only offered BA Program Courses. From 2023, Under the aegis of National Education Policy, Department of Political Science is offering Major course with 68 students in its first batch. Presently there are two substantive teachers in the department. The department regularly organises invited lectures and conferences to supplement students’ learning and enable them to acquire a more holistic perspective.
The department also conducts Remedial classes and tutorials in each semester. Additional classes have also been organised for the slow learner students. Parents-teachers meeting has been arranged to get proper feedback. Counselling of students has been provided to allow them to adopt the best practices that will pave the way to career success. At this department, we are dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of the national and international political experience. Our vibrant community of students engage in thought-provoking discussions, critical analysis, and creative expression. It is a place where students embark on a journey to explore the diverse tapestry of political culture, gaining insights that enrich their lives and careers.
