The Women’s Cell at Birsa Munda College serves as a dedicated platform for addressing gender-related issues and promoting women’s welfare. Committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment, it offers support services, organises awareness programmes, and advocates for gender equality. So far, the Cell has organised a programme on “Menstruation Hygiene” and, in collaboration with IQAC, installed a sanitary vending machine, equipped with an incineration system. Through its initiatives, the Women’s Cell empowers women to voice their concerns and participate actively in campus life, ensuring their holistic development and well-being.
