ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Birsa Munda College currently lacks a registered alumni association. However, the college boasts an informal student association that serves as a platform for former students to stay connected, network, and support each other. While this informal network has facilitated meaningful interactions and camaraderie among alumni, there is an opportunity to formalise and strengthen these bonds through the establishment of an official alumni association soon. Such an association could play a pivotal role in fostering lifelong connections, facilitating mentorship opportunities, and supporting the college’s initiatives and development projects. With the potential to harness the collective expertise, resources, and goodwill of its alumni base, the formation of a registered alumni association holds promise for enhancing Birsa Munda College’s impact and legacy in the years to come.

The motto of the college in this regard is: Come Together, Support, and Grow.

The core principles at the heart of this vision are:
  • to promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction between the older and newer batches
  • to encourage the past and present student body to give back to the college in building a better tomorrow
  • to strengthen ties between the alumni of the college and the community at large
